About Us:Liftoff Entertainment is a premier provider of professional but fun DJ and Photo Booth services, specializing in weddings, corporate events, and private parties. With a focus on creating unforgettable experiences, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality entertainment with a personal touch. We’re looking for an energetic and reliable Mobile DJ to join our team and help make our clients’ events extraordinary!
Responsibilities
- Event Performance:
- Serve as the primary DJ at weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
- Make professional and engaging announcements as needed (e.g., wedding introductions, toasts, activity prompts).
- Play curated playlists and take live song requests while keeping the dance floor energized.
- Equipment Management:
- Transport, set up, and break down all DJ equipment, including sound systems, microphones, and lighting with company vehicle
- Ensure all equipment functions properly and troubleshoot issues during events.
- Client Interaction:
- Collaborate with clients during pre-event consultations to understand their music preferences and event timeline.
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor throughout events.
- Brand Representation:
- Uphold Liftoff Entertainment’s professional and fun style.
- Interact positively with event guests, vendors, and venue staff.
Qualifications
- Prior DJ experience is not required (we offer training).
- A strong passion for music and an understanding of diverse genres.
- Knowledge of Top 40 Music throughout the decades
- Comfortable speaking on a microphone and engaging a crowd.
- Ability to manage and troubleshoot audio/lighting equipment.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
What We Offer
- Competitive pay based on experience and event size. Liftoff DJs can make around $600 per wedding, if not more.
