Responsibilities
- Translate financial literacy content from English to target languages with precision and cultural sensitivity
- Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency
- Interpret spoken financial education in-person sessions or webinars as needed
- Transcribe audio or video recordings related to financial literacy programs
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to accurately convey complex financial concepts in multiple languages
- Maintain high standards of linguistic quality and adhere to project deadlines
- Support the development of multilingual educational resources and tools
Skills
- Multilingual proficiency, especially in English and at least one other language
- Strong translation, interpretation, and transcription skills within the financial domain
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven proofreading abilities with attention to detail
- Background in linguistics or related fields preferred
- Writing skills that effectively adapt content for diverse audiences
- Prior experience as a linguist or translator, particularly in financial literacy or educational content is advantageous
