Caregiver Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide support and assistance to clients with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Provide medication reminders and monitor health changes
- Help with mobility, transfers, and light physical activity
- Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Communicate regularly with family members or healthcare providers about client needs
Requirements:
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assist with lifting, mobility, and physical support if needed
- Basic knowledge of caregiving, hygiene, and safety practices
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if transportation is required)
- Ability to pass background check
Experience:
- Previous caregiving, home health aide, or personal care experience preferred
- Experience working with seniors, disabled individuals, or patients with special needs is a plus
- Familiarity with medication reminders, mobility assistance, and daily care routines preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
