What are the responsibilities and job description for the Narrow Fabrics Weaving/Weaver EXPERIENCED ONLY Second Shift position at Liftex Corporation?
This job is only open to EXPERIENCED narrow fabrics weavers.
The Weaver is responsible for operating and maintaining narrow fabric weaving machines to produce high-quality webbing, tapes, elastics, and other narrow textiles according to production specifications. The weaver ensures machine efficiency, product quality, and minimal downtime through routine maintenance and inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate narrow fabric looms (e.g., needle looms) to produce woven products to spec
- Monitor weaving process for quality issues such as broken threads, mispicks, or pattern defects
- Perform spot creeling.
- Perform machine changeovers for different styles, widths, and constructions
- Conduct minor repairs as needed
- Inspect finished fabric for quality, and remove or report any defective material
- Record production data and downtime in logs or digital tracking systems
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, technicians, and quality control team
