Lifted Northwest is a small cannabis business in Portland, OR. We are professional recreational dispensary and our goal is to hire a budtender who is familiar with the products and industry ready to assist customers with their needs. Requires OLCC work permit.
The position will require this hire to be personable and outgoing with customers who come through our doors. This person should feel comfortable talking about industry products and guide the customer to the correct selection of their choosing. We strive to always have a positive attitude that reflects our service to our customers.
Budtender Job Duties Include but may not be limited to the following:
Customer Service: Greet customers, provide a welcoming atmosphere, and assist them with their inquiries. Listen to their needs and preferences to recommend suitable cannabis products.
Product Knowledge: Have a comprehensive understanding of different cannabis strains, products, consumption methods, effects, and potential benefits. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and developments.
Education: Educate customers about the various types of cannabis products available, including flowers, concentrates, edibles, topicals, and more. Provide information about potency, terpene profiles, cannabinoid content, and recommended dosages.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all transactions adhere to Oregon's cannabis regulations and laws. Verify customers' age and identification to ensure they are of legal age to purchase cannabis products.
Recommendations: Based on customer preferences and needs, recommend appropriate cannabis products that match their desired effects, experience level, and consumption preferences.
Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels, restock shelves, and maintain product displays in an organized and appealing manner.
Point of Sale (POS) Transactions: Process sales transactions accurately using the dispensary's POS system. Handle cash and electronic payments securely and responsibly.
Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment by adhering to the dispensary's security protocols. Prevent any unauthorized access to products and maintain a vigilant eye on the sales floor.
Communication: Communicate with colleagues and supervisors about inventory levels, popular products, customer feedback, and any potential issues that arise.
Compliance Reporting: Assist with maintaining accurate records and reports required by state regulations, such as sales data, inventory levels, and customer interactions.
Responsible Use: Educate customers about responsible cannabis consumption, including dosage guidelines, potential risks, and avoiding driving under the influence.
Customer Feedback: Gather feedback from customers to understand their preferences, concerns, and suggestions. Use this feedback to improve the dispensary's offerings and customer experience.
Continuing Education: Stay informed about the evolving cannabis industry, new products, and changing regulations through ongoing training and self-education.
Promotions and Specials: Inform customers about ongoing promotions, discounts, and special events taking place in the dispensary.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Help keep the dispensary clean and organized, including the sales floor, product displays, and customer areas.
