Parts Specialist
We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Specialist located at our Aerial branch. The Parts Specialist is primarily responsible for fulfilling parts orders for internal and external customers throughout the Lift Incorporated branches while also maintaining a very high level of customer service. Previous experience working in a parts department, or the material handling industry is a plus, but we will train the right individual.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Fulfilling Parts orders in person, over the phone, and electronically
• Assisting customers and Service Technicians in selecting the correct Parts for maintenance or repair orders
• Research Parts requests across multiple sources as needed
• Utilize in-house computer system for order tracking, quoting, and billing
• Check and confirm quantity of parts in physical inventory parts cage
• Provide updates to Aerial technicians and PSS as needed
• Continual communication with all parties until order is fulfilled
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent GED (required)
• Must be 18 years or older (required)
• Experience working with Microsoft office
• Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers
• Display a positive and friendly attitude toward customers and fellow team members
• Strong organizational, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or a part of a team on a variety of job tasks
• Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two (2) years experience with Aerial or Automotive parts
• Two (2) years experience in the Material handling field
• Two (2) years experience with Microsoft Office Products

Working Conditions:

• Able to sit most of the day, with occasional walking
• Computer work throughout an 8-10 hour day
• Wearing steel or composite toe shoes or boots during work hours are a requirement of this position
• Requires use of fingers, hands, and arms on a consistent basis for keyboarding and phone work
• Visual acuity (with or without correction) is required.
• Standard office environment has moderate noise levels associated with computer equipment, customers, and phone conversations.
• Occasionally lift 50 pounds and on occasion up to 75 pounds
