Duties & Responsibilities
- Manufacturing/Production of wire rope & chain slings
- Utilizing hydraulic machinery (presses, reeling machine, pull test machine)
- Forklift Operation
- Satisfactorily preparing materials for shipment (prepping freight shipments)
- Loading/offloading trucks
- Keeping an organized/safe work area
- Restocking materials in the warehouse
- Assisting with annual Inventory
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to be on feet for extend periods of time
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- Driver's license, preferred
- 3-5 years experience in Wire Rope Sling Fabrication, preferred.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- Ability to be certified to operate a forklift.
- Attention to detail with the ability to direct work and meet customer deadlines.
- Basic reading, writing, arithmetic and communication skills required.
