We're hiring an experienced service professional to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain our customers' loading dock systems and overhead commercial doors. Even if you're new to this specific trade, as long as you have a few years of repair and maintenance experience under your belt, you could be the right fit!
You'll Tackle:
- Working from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime available
- Speaking with customers about their concerns and accurately diagnosing the source of mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic problems
- Safely repairing, maintaining, and testing the equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Driving to and from locations as needed to pick up parts and perform additional on-site services
- Scheduling routine work van maintenance and keeping your vehicle neat, clean, and organized
- Assisting with other responsibilities as assigned
Commercial Dock and Door Tech Qualifications:
Experience repairing loading docks and commercial doors would be great but isn't required for the right person. We're looking for someone who has:
- 18 years of age
- 2 years of related mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics experience
- High school diploma, GED equivalent, or a technical degree
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to complete quality work independently
