We’re looking for a motivated Marketing Intern to support our growing marketing and sales operations. This role is perfect for a student or early-career professional who wants hands-on experience across marketing, CRM systems, and the full sales lifecycle in a B2B manufacturing environment.
Position Summary
The Marketing Intern will assist in integrating and maintaining our new CRM system, support creative marketing projects, and gain exposure to our unit sales and parts sales processes. This role blends technical, creative, and operational work—ideal for someone who wants to develop a versatile skill set while contributing to real business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
CRM Integration & Data Management
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and optimization of the company CRM.
- Clean, organize, and migrate customer and sales data into the new platform.
- Document CRM workflows and help train internal team members on usage.
- Support ongoing data maintenance, reporting, and user troubleshooting.
Creative & Marketing Support
- Help create marketing materials including social media posts, graphics, trade show content, and product sheets.
- Assist with photo/video content capture for equipment, training sessions, and events.
- Support website content updates and SEO-friendly product descriptions.
- Collaborate on campaigns promoting new products, training programs, and industry events.
Sales Process Learning & Support
- Observe and document the unit sales and parts sales workflow from lead generation to invoice.
- Assist the sales team with lead tracking, quote preparation, and follow-up scheduling in the CRM.
- Help analyze sales activity data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Participate in cross-department meetings to understand how marketing drives sales outcomes.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, data entry, and basic digital tools.
- Creative mindset with interest in graphic design, content creation, or brand development.
- Willingness to learn technical product information in a manufacturing environment.
