What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver / Yard & Setup Helper position at Liffco Power Equipment?
LIFFCO Power Equipment is a family-run outdoor power equipment dealer serving Long Island. We sell and service brands like Ariens, Toro, Echo, and RedMax. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on person to deliver and pick up equipment and keep our yard and showroom running smoothly.
What you'll do
- Deliver and pick up mowers, snow blowers, and other equipment for customers and service jobs
- Load, unload, and secure equipment safely on our truck and trailer
- Uncrate, assemble, and set up new units for sale
- Keep the yard, showroom floor, and stock areas organized
- Help customers load purchases and pitch in around the shop as needed
Requirements
- Must have a valid NY driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all seasons
- Mechanically handy (basic hand tools); small engine experience is a plus
- Dependable, on time, and friendly with customers
- Trailer experience is a plus
