Job Title: Recruiter
Reports To: Vice President of Human Resources
MISSION
Advocacy
Under the direction of the Vice President of Human Resources, plans, coordinates, and directs the sourcing and recruiting functions of the agency. Serves as a link between the agency management and its employees. Complies with all principles of Human Rights, D.P.P.C., Department of Developmental Services, the Division of Medical Assistance, and all other applicable funding regulations as adhered to by Lifeworks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Responsible for creating and managing sources of eligible candidates for all openings at the agency.
Serves as the key point of contact for all job boards as well as other external sources of candidates.
Manages the recruiting process from candidate identification to hire process.
Manages the Paycor Applicant Tracking System and maximizes its use with management.
Enhances and manages the internal candidate process.
Provides assistance with the onboarding process by ensuring that it's high-quality and up to date, provide clarity and connection for employees so their roles serve the overall agency vision.
Manages quality of hire, time to hire and pipeline volume; ensures continued diversity of candidate and new hire pool.
Provides input into the benefit package of the agency based on candidate and market perceptions.
Suggests changes in policies and procedures based on employee and company needs.
Attend interdepartmental meetings and meetings with agency Managers/Directors/VP’s.
Handle confidential matters with discretion.
Support and guide other staff within the human resources department.
Ensure the department and organization are adhering to state and federal laws.
Assists with special events including but not limited to Open Enrollment for benefits, flu clinics, and staff appreciation events.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and at least three to five years of related experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write and proofread routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak and present effectively before individuals or employees of an organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
VEHICLE/TRAVEL
Requires a legally insured and inspected automobile for use to be present at work and available for use during working hours.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid and current driver’s license from the state of residency.
