Essential Duties
- Participates in planning, training and implementation of Positive Behavioral Supports throughout all agency programs. Including becoming certified in DDS approved Crisis Prevention and Restraint (CPRR) training. The DDS approved CPRR training is Safety Care.
- Functional assessment, development, training, monitoring, data collection and analysis of targeted Behavior Support Plans.
- Create ongoing assessments and supports on iCentrix, in collaboration with monthly clinical data.
- Effective and ongoing communication and collaboration with staff, supervisors, families, guardians, medical and other treatment providers as well as the Department of Developmental Services (DDS).
- Clinical consultation and risk management support to staff, Coordinators and Supervisors in a variety of settings, including residential sites, day programs, team meetings and ISP’s. Participation in monthly leadership and intensive support meetings for PBS. Weekly participation in clinical consultation for IFFS program. Participate in the Clinical Response Team as needed.
- Participation in clinical evaluations for referrals and admissions to Lifeworks programs.
- Will attend agency Human Rights Meetings every six weeks.
- Provide bereavement and grief support for all programs.
- On-call consultation via telephone for emergency clinical/behavioral issues.
- Assist Clinical Director in various tasks as needed.
- Conduct agency wide trainings for additional support and reviews.
- Provide crisis intervention evaluation and referral for higher levels of care.
- Other duties and/or assignments to work/program locations based on the needs of the company.
- Must have behavior management experience and needs to have experience working with individuals that have been diagnosed with ID/DD/ASD and co-occurring mental health diagnoses
- LICSW, LMHC, BCBA, or license eligible within 6 months
- Must be able to pass Fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC and Driving background checks
- Valid Driver's License required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
