Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile General Utility Worker to support our food service and hospitality operations. This role is essential in maintaining smooth daily functions across various departments, including catering, restaurant, hotel, and event settings. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong work ethic, and the ability to perform a variety of tasks to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Duties

• Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas efficiently to maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Support food preparation tasks, including basic cooking and plating under supervision.
• Help with food handling, storage, and sanitation to meet safety standards.
• Contribute to banquet setup and breakdown, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly arranged.
• Perform cleaning duties in kitchen, dining, and service areas to uphold hygiene standards.
• Support catering events by setting up tables, serving guests as needed, and managing supplies.
• Assist with general kitchen duties such as stocking supplies, washing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness of workspaces.
• Provide excellent customer service by serving guests courteously and professionally in various hospitality settings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety procedures is a plus.
• Experience with bussing tables, cleaning, or general kitchen work is desirable.
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards guest service.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.60 - $18.88 per hour
