Associate Director of Global Sourcing
Location: Newton, MA (4 days on site)
We have partnered with a rapidly growing consumer products company known for its strong consumer following, collaborative culture, and continued expansion across products and channels.
As the business continues to scale, they are looking to add an Associate Director of Strategic Sourcing to help strengthen supplier strategy, support operational growth, and drive sourcing initiatives across a complex supply chain network.
This is a highly visible role that will partner closely with leadership across supply chain, operations, finance, innovation, and commercial teams while helping shape the company’s long-term sourcing capabilities.
Position Description:
- Lead sourcing activities across ingredients, packaging, co-manufacturing, and selected indirect spend categories.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that improve cost, supply continuity, and supplier performance.
- Lead supplier negotiations, RFP processes, and contract management initiatives.
- Partner cross-functionally to support innovation launches, packaging updates, and business growth initiatives.
- Monitor commodity markets, supplier trends, and sourcing risks to proactively identify opportunities and challenges.
- Support procurement process improvements, spend visibility, and supplier governance initiatives.
- Help mentor and develop a growing sourcing team.
Background Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of strategic sourcing experience within CPG, food & beverage, or related industries.
- Strong analytical, financial, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong supplier negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Miscellaneous:
- Compensation: $140 - $160K bonus equity.
