What are the responsibilities and job description for the LCPC/LPC/LCSW/LMSW position at LIFEWAYS INC?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned)
- Provide diagnostic assessments with DSM V diagnoses.
- Provide individualized case management to clients.
- May provide counseling and education and support to clients and families, skills training, and outreach to client homes.
- Develop treatment plans as well as review them to ensure the delivery of appropriate interventions.
- Make appropriate referrals.
- Provide individual, couple, family, and group counseling.
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, evaluations, and related services.
- Provide supervision, consultation, education and training for other program staff and community agencies and groups.
- Provide supervision for licensure for program staff.
- Provide supervision for graduate level interns.
- May provide clinical review and/or supervision of work by other clinicians or subcontracted programs.
- Complete paperwork within agency expected timelines.
- Provide clinical oversight. Difficult cases and crisis management are emphasized.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnostic evaluations; develop treatment plans.
- May act as liaison and provide consultation, education and information to community agencies that routinely encounter individuals with mental or emotional disturbances.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team structure to expand clinical competency, staff cases, and ensure thorough client care.

Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in social work, behavioral health, or a closely related field.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Hold the highest level of Idaho state licensure or certification, or be able to obtain within 30 days:
- LCSW, LCPC, or LMSW
- State-approved or registered supervisor (if applicable).
- Complete AVADE training within 90 days of hire.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Ability to work weekend rotations.
