Patient Care Coordinator
About the Role: Our practice is seeking a dedicated and professional Patient Care Coordinator to join our busy, three-doctor eye clinic team. You’ll work as part of a collaborative team to ensure our office flows smoothly and our patients feel cared for from the moment they walk in. This position requires attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a warm, welcoming environment while managing administrative priorities in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Relations: Provide immediate, courteous, and professional service to all patients upon entry and throughout their visit.
- Front Office Coordination: Manage phone systems, facilitate patient check-in/check-out, and help maintain an organized flow of office traffic.
- Records Management: Coordinate patient records, prepare daily charts, and ensure accurate entry of patient demographics.
- Insurance Verification: Verify vision and medical insurance coverage and accurately communicate benefit information.
- Scheduling: Manage appointment scheduling in a multi-provider environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work in tandem with other team members to ensure all administrative duties are completed efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Position Details
- Job Type: Full-time, ideally 30-38 hours, with ideal candidate flexible for opening or closing shifts
- Growth Opportunity: We prioritize internal development; future opportunities for advancement are planned for employees who demonstrate mastery of the position and a commitment to the practice. Cross training in other departments is encouraged.
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday 7:00AM - 2:00PM, with opening shift starting 45 minute prior and closing until last patient leaves.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
