Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products/services through various testing and auditing procedures. A strong understanding of ISO9001:2015 standards is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform Quality Control (QC) testing on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Conduct Out of Box (OOB) audits to verify product quality and packaging before shipment.
- Perform internal audits of our Quality Management System (QMS) against ISO9001:2015 requirements.
- Document and report on quality issues, deviations, and non-conformances.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of customer complaints related to product quality.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed quality records.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher in a technical field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Quality Technician or similar role.
- Demonstrated experience with ISO9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
- Proficiency in QC testing methodologies and equipment.
- Experience conducting internal audits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
