What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substance Abuse Technician position at Lifetime Recovery?
Under the supervision of the Direct Care Manager, the direct care technician will monitor the all-male adult client population.
A substance abuse technician works in facilities that support the treatment of clients suffering from alcoholism, drug addiction, and other behaviors that interfere with their quality of life. Collaborating with counselors and other healthcare professionals to implement rehabilitation programs and help patients on their journey to recovery.
Qualifications & Experience
· High School Diploma or GED required
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
· Must possess a current driver’s license and liability insurance and have reliable transportation - required
· If in Recovery, having at least 2 years free from substance abuse or dependency.
- Customer Service
· Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
· Recommended one year experience with adult male clients preferred
This can be a full-time or part-time position based on needs of the applicant. Only full-time employees are eligible for benefits.
