Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Senior Analyst
Location: Westerville, Ohio
Position Summary:
The FP&A Analyst at Lifetime Quality Roofing plays a critical role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role partners closely with leadership and operations to provide data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making, improve profitability, and drive operational efficiency across residential and commercial roofing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial
- models
- Analyze revenue, margins, labor costs, material costs, and overhead by project,
- branch, or service line
- Support cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses (actual vs.
- budget/forecast)
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting financial performance
- Create dashboards and KPIs related to job costing, project profitability, and
- operational efficiency
Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and project management teams to improve
- financial outcomes
- Provide financial insights to support pricing decisions, bid evaluations, and project
- profitability
- Assist leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and strategic initiatives
Process Improvement:
- Improve financial reporting accuracy, timeliness, and automation
- Support enhancements to job costing systems and financial tools
- Help establish standardized financial processes and best practices
Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure financial data integrity and consistency with accounting policies
- Assist with audits, internal controls, and documentation as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis
- Strong proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, formulas)
- Experience analyzing P&L statements and financial drivers
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in construction, roofing, home services, or project-based businesses
- Familiarity with job costing and project margin analysis
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or
- similar)
- Experience with BI or reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
