Production Workers performs repetitive hardware, fabrication or line assembly operations to mass-produce products such as tables, chairs, basketball systems, sheds and playsets by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities could include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
- Bolt, clip, and screw crimp drill parts together
- Needs to be able to load raw material and unload finished product
- Identify quality defects and raw material flaws
- Places parts in specified relationship to each other
- Tends machines, such as presses and cutting machines
- Read and follows Powder Coating Processes
- Powder coats parts by color needed for model
- Follows schedule and hands parts needed for Power Coating
- Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
- Works at different workstations as production needs require
- Package all shed parts that are necessary for each box
- Follow all run conditions while packaging product
- Work in different assigned zones as needed
- Cross train in different areas within the sheds department
- Must be a current temporary employee working at Lifetime Products through a staffing agency.
- No prior experience or training is needed. Less than a high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual in English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Overtime flexibility during peak seasons.
