What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bathroom Installer (Subcontractor) position at Lifetime Home Remodeling?
Why Join Lifetime Home Remodeling?
Make your mark in the remodeling industry by partnering with Lifetime Home Remodeling as a 1099 Bath Installer in the Denver metro area. You’ll work with a trusted, fast-growing brand and premium bath systems, do hands-on installation work, control your schedule (within project scopes), and earn based on performance.
As an independent subcontractor, you operate your own business while helping deliver Lifetime’s “red-carpet” customer experience—clean workmanship, strong communication, and projects completed on time and on budget.
What You’ll Do:
- Install premium acrylic and solid-surface bath systems at residential job sites across the Denver market.
- Receive project-specific scopes of work from Lifetime and complete installations to company standards, manufacturer requirements, and job timelines.
- Coordinate with Lifetime’s Bath Project Manager and Project Coordinator to confirm site readiness, materials, and installation logistics.
- Maintain clean, professional job sites—protecting the customer’s home/space throughout the project and leaving it spotless at completion.
- Communicate proactively with Lifetime’s team when issues, delays, or material discrepancies arise—recommending solutions and documenting progress.
- Maintain accurate job documentation (arrival times, work completed, photos as needed, and close-out notes) and submit required completion documentation to Lifetime.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professionalism, empathy, problem-solving, and quality craftsmanship.
What You Need:
- 2 years of acrylic or solid-surface bath installation experience.
- 5 years of general construction experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with empathy and resolution (customer-facing work is required).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation to reach job sites across the Denver area.
- Ability to work independently, manage job tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality workmanship.
Compensation:
- Paid on a commission-only, per-project basis.
- Compensation Rate: 12% of the contract value per completed project (per agreed scope and completion requirements). Most subcontractors will earn over $100,000 per year.
- No hourly pay, salary, or employee benefits are associated with this position.
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting/standing for long periods of time.
- Using hand tools, power tools, saws, razor knives, and other potentially dangerous equipment for extended periods.
- Working with/around chemicals and odors from materials.
- Lifting materials and equipment up to 200 lbs frequently (with appropriate lifting methods and assistance when required).
Important Subcontractor Classification Note:
This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity with Lifetime Home Remodeling, not an employee position. As a subcontractor, you operate as your own business and are responsible for your own taxes, licensing (if applicable), insurance, and business requirements. You control how the work is performed while meeting agreed-upon project scope, quality standards, and timelines.
