Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning and removing existing window films or debris to ensure optimal adhesion of new tinting materials.
- Measure and cut tinting films accurately to fit various vehicle windows, ensuring precise application.
- Apply tint films smoothly using specialized tools, maintaining consistent pressure to prevent bubbles or wrinkles.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to trim excess film and achieve clean edges for a professional appearance.
- Inspect completed work for quality, ensuring adherence to safety standards, legal regulations, and customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, properly storing tools and materials for efficiency and safety.
Skills
- Proven experience with window tinting application on vehicles; dealership experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) considerations when tinting or working around sensors.
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on skills using hand tools, power tools, and auto glass tinting equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for precision in measuring, cutting, and applying film.
