Responsibilities:
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, helping them live meaningful, independent lives. Key duties include:
- Care & Support: Assist with daily living activities, personal care, meal prep, and medication management.
- Emotional Support: Encourage independence and provide companionship and encouragement.
- Community Engagement: Plan and participate in community-based activities, social events, and outings.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client progress, health, and incidents.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license required
- Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare is a plus.
- Compassion, patience, and a desire to positively impact others.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for documentation.
