We are a leading furniture manufacturer and distributor undergoing strategic domestic expansion. We are seeking a disciplined Operations Coordinator to join our Summerville, SC distribution hub. This role is a critical nexus between physical warehouse activities and digital inventory integrity.
The ideal candidate is a high-reliability professional with an advanced aptitude for data management and logistical synchronization, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
Core Responsibilities
- Systems & Data Integrity: Serve as the primary custodian of operational data. Utilize advanced Excel functions to maintain real-time inventory accuracy, perform variance analysis on cycle counts, and generate executive-level KPI reports.
- Hardware & Labeling Systems: Take full ownership of Zebra thermal printing stations. Troubleshoot connectivity issues, manage media supplies (labels/ribbons), and ensure all barcode outputs are compliant with carrier and retailer specifications.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Execute end-to-end logistics workflows, including the scheduling of inbound/outbound freight, carrier management, and the meticulous preparation of all shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, and commercial invoices).
- Process Optimization: Support the Operations Manager in identifying bottlenecks within the distribution cycle and implementing scalable solutions to improve throughput.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as a professional point of contact for external vendors and internal departments (Finance, Procurement, and Operations) to ensure strict adherence to SLAs.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 5 years in a structured logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills are mandatory. Candidates must be proficient in complex data manipulation, including Pivot Tables and lookup functions. Proficiency in ERP/WMS environments (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) is highly preferred. Familiarity with barcode symbologies (GS1, UPC, Code 128) and how they integrate with WMS/ERP platforms
- Competencies: Exceptional organizational discipline, analytical problem-solving, and a proactive approach to task management.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex operational updates clearly and concisely to leadership.
- Hardware: Hands-on experience with Zebra (ZPL) printers and industrial barcode scanners.
