Full-Time Housekeeper / Household Assistant
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and pet-loving Housekeeper / Household Assistant for a 3,100-square-foot residence in Fort Lauderdale. Candidates must be local, proactive, and legally authorized to work in the US. The ability to travel to the client's other homes (primarily in the Hamptons, NY) is a plus but isn't required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Animal Care: Manage daily care for dogs and cats, including feeding, regular outdoor trips, medication, litter box maintenance, play, and cleanup.
- Daily Housekeeping & Deep Cleaning: Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize all living areas daily. Maintain kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, surfaces, and appliances to an exceptional standard. Make beds and detail bathrooms daily.
- Laundry & Garment Care: Manage daily household laundry, including ironing, steaming, folding, organizing, and caring for delicate garments and linens.
- Household Organization: Maintain closets, pantries, storage spaces, utility rooms, and refrigerators. Monitor supplies and assist with seasonal projects.
Schedule & Requirements:
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Flexibility: Occasional overnights, weekends, and optional travel to a second home in the Hamptons, NY.
Compensation:
- $40/hour plus up to $300 monthly health insurance stipend.
Pay: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
