Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Front Desk Receptionist role located in Chicago, IL. The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, greeting them in a professional and friendly manner and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Daily responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls, scheduling and confirming appointments, handling patient inquiries, and maintaining an organized reception area. The role also involves performing clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, data entry, and managing incoming and outgoing mail. The Front Desk Receptionist collaborates with clinical and administrative staff to support efficient office operations and deliver a high level of customer service.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, visitors, and team members.
- Bilingual (English/ Spanish)
- Proficiency in receptionist duties, including greeting visitors, managing appointments, and directing inquiries.
- Professional phone etiquette and the ability to manage multi-line phone systems calmly and efficiently.
- Clerical skills such as data entry, filing, document handling, and basic computer literacy (e.g., email, scheduling software).
- Prior experience in a medical or healthcare office setting is preferred but not required.
