TITLE: Driver REPORTS TO: Assistant Director of Operations
Job Summary
The Driver is responsible for transporting clients to and from their work and day habilitation locations. Additional responsibilities may include administering medications, providing HPC services, and completing courier duties between client homes and the Lifestyle Housing administrative offices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to complete each essential duty listed below. A supervisor will review the LSH Training Manual with each employee, which includes additional responsibilities not listed here. Transportation
· Safely transport clients to and from designated work and day habilitation locations.
· Follow all traffic laws and plan routes to ensure safe and efficient travel.
· Ensure safe loading and unloading of clients.
· Monitor vehicle condition, fuel levels, and report maintenance concerns to the supervisor. Repairs may only be scheduled with supervisor’s approval.
· Ensure all clients wear seat belts at all times.
· Maintain awareness of client personalities to promote a calm, incident-free ride.
Documentation
· Complete all required documentation accurately, including client attendance and reasons for absence.
· Record mileage and dates correctly.
· Submit all gas and maintenance receipts, along with required documentation, to the Assistant Director of Operations.
· Complete both physical documentation and required logging into Brittco.
Vehicle & Professional Standards
· Keep the vehicle clean at all times.
· Present yourself professionally as a representative of LSH.
· Report any incidents or concerns to your supervisor as soon as possible.
Courier Duties
· Check each house and office for courier items that need to be delivered to client homes or returned to administrative offices.
· Each location will have a designated area for items to be picked up or dropped off.
Restrictions
· The vehicle may not be used for personal purposes under any circumstances.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
The duties listed above are a general overview. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervision or management.

All tenant information must remain strictly confidential. Any breach of confidentiality may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
Working Conditions
· Exposure to inclement weather.
· Possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
· Interaction with individuals with severe mental disabilities who may be unpredictable or potentially dangerous.
