What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at LifeStream Family Medicine?
Looking for a diligent, friendly and respectful staff member to run our front office. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, able to multi task, proficient in typing, Windows 11, and is able to work 4 days a week. Premedical, gap year students are preferred. Ideally will be able to work this role for the next 1 to 2 years in preparation for medical school. Training for the front but also for the back office is provided.
Checking in and checking out patients.
Answering phone calls, booking appointments.
Insurance verifications, collecting copays and deductibles.
Scanning and uploading documents to patient's health records.
Sending referrals for patients to specialists,
Cross trained to room patients and performing vital signs as this is a small office and staff members are to be able to function in all areas.
We also have added aesthetics to our practice and so staff will be cross trained in operating equipment such as the EmSculpt Neo.
Creating marketing flyers using canva for monthly promotions for our weight loss and aesthetics practice.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
