LifeSpring Health Systems is seeking a Mobile Crisis Youth Peer Support Specialist. This position will serve our Central/Eastern Divisions in Southern Indiana out of Jeffersonville. The Youth Peer support specialist will connect youth and their families to community programs, schools, health groups, and housing services. They provide mentorship and guidance using personal lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery. Key duties include building trust, sharing coping skills, and connecting young people to local resources. Teach daily living, social, and emotional regulation skills during one-on-one or group settings. Peer Recovery Specialist certification is required or willing to become certified. We are looking for caring, compassionate and energetic people who enjoy helping others. An electronic medical record is used so computer literacy is also required.
