LifeSpring Counseling Services is an in-network outpatient group practice providing counseling services to children, teens, and adults across Maryland through telehealth and in-person care at our Baltimore City office. Our mission is to provide hope, healing, and empowerment through the collaborative process of therapy.
At this time, we are excited to expand our services by hiring two Registered Dietitians (RD/RDNs) licensed in Maryland who are passionate about the connection between mental health and nutrition. This role is ideal for clinicians who want to do more than provide nutrition counseling. We are looking for professionals who want to help shape and grow an innovative nutrition program within a collaborative behavioral health practice.
This position begins as part-time with the goal of building into a full-time caseload through our established referral network and collaborative clinical team.

The Registered Dietitian / Nutrition Therapist will provide outpatient nutrition services to clients across Maryland through a hybrid model of telehealth and in-person care at our Baltimore City office.
The ideal candidate has a strong interest in the relationship between nutrition and mental health and enjoys collaborating with other providers to support whole-person care.
Responsibilities- Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and evidence-based nutrition counseling to adult clients
- Bill insurance using appropriate CPT codes
- Complete accurate, compliant chart documentation within 24 hours of appointments
- Coordinate care with behavioral health and primary care providers to support shared patients
- Help actively shape clinical policies, procedures, documentation standards, assessment tools, and best practices for nutrition services
- Counsel and educate clients on concerns commonly seen alongside mental health diagnoses, including:
- Chronic health conditions
- GI concerns
- Women’s health concerns
- Inflammation
- Nutrition-related concerns connected to stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD
- Develop educational materials for clients
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications & RequirementsRequired Qualifications- Must reside in Maryland
- Active RD or RDN credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Active Maryland Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist (LDN) licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting
- Knowledge of billing and coding practices for Medical Nutrition Therapy (97802, 97803, 97804)
- Familiarity with compliant charting/documentation practices for outpatient nutrition services
- Strong writing skills, including the ability to create educational materials, policies, procedures, and assessment tools
- Interest in providing hybrid services (telehealth across Maryland and in-person in Baltimore City)
- Experience or interest in behavioral health, mental health, and nutrition integration
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary healthcare settings
This role begins as a part-time position with the intention of growing into a full-time caseload over time. We are seeking clinicians interested in building with us long-term and becoming an integral part of our interdisciplinary team.
