Highland Senior Living is in Little Falls, Minnesota located off 3rd avenue, just down the road from Coborn’s! Our community is a combination of Assisted Living and Memory Care Units, with a total size of 65 total units. Shifts Available: Part Time AM (every other Sat & Sun 5:30a - 2:00p and every Fri 5:00a - 1:30p)
Wage: $17.50-$22.50

Duties
In this position, you will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations. Duties include:
- Prepare (primarily scratch cooking) and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
- Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
- Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
- Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
- Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
- 1 year of high-volume cooking experience is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to pass the Minnesota Dept. of Health background check.
- Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
- Able to read and understand recipes that are written in English.
- Strong match skills for adjusting recipe amounts as needed.
- Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
