Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
- Provide direct patient care and perform therapeutic activities to improve patients' functional abilities
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment sessions
- Collaborate with the occupational therapy team to develop and modify treatment plans based on patient needs
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in acute care, occupational health, medical imaging, or pediatrics is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Summary
