LifeSource is hiring an HRIS Analyst to be responsible for the administration, configuration, and ongoing development of the organization’s Human Resources Information System, UKG Pro, and other HR applications. This role serves as a key liaison between Information Technology and Human Resources, ensuring HR system functionality aligns with business needs. Core responsibilities include system configuration, integration ownership, data integrity from the system side, testing, documentation, and the development of governance practices such as change requests, communication standards, and structured change management.

As an HRIS Analyst, you'll advance our life-saving work by performing the following job responsibilities:
System Administration/Management
- Administer and maintain UKG Pro configuration, including workflows, business rules, system tables, and security roles.
- Partner with HR business process owners to align system functionality with business requirements and strategic objectives.
- Support upgrades, enhancements, issue resolution, and ongoing optimization of the HR applications.
- Design, build, implement, monitor, and maintain integrations between HR applications and third-party systems, including benefits and related vendors.
- Own the integration lifecycle, including requirements gathering, mapping, testing, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Coordinate with HR stakeholders, vendors, and IT partners to ensure data flows are accurate, timely, and sustainable.
- Help establish and maintain HRIS governance practices, including intake of requests, prioritization, communication, testing, and implementation standards.
- Provide support within IT best practices workflows of incident, problem, change, and request management.
- Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, integrations, workflows, and support processes.
- Support structured communication of system changes and enhancements to impacted stakeholders.
- Support structured tracking and prioritization of system changes, issues, and enhancement requests.
- Support technology-enabled communication capabilities within the HRIS, including system notifications, targeting, and basic engagement tracking.
- Educate and familiarize business process owners with in-app standard reports and reporting capabilities.
- Develop and maintain additional report requirements not included in standard reporting.
- Support data audits and help maintain consistency and reliability of HR data across systems and interfaces.
- Support system upgrades, module enhancements, testing activities, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and validation for changes affecting HR systems.
- Requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to a minimum of 7 years in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience supporting UKG Pro (UltiPro).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
- Experience configuring HRIS systems, including workflows, security roles, business rules, and related system setup.
- Experience supporting or managing integrations such as file-based interfaces, vendor feeds, and/or API-enabled connections.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, including employee lifecycle, benefits, and payroll-related considerations.
- Experience in leading projects, program and best practices.
- Solutions-orientated with an ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to exhibit a high degree of quality, integrity, and honor confidentiality of appropriate information including, but not limited to, personal team member data, organizational operations or work processes, donor and donor family information, contributor details, any financial information and medical or protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA.
- Primary hours are Monday - Friday, business hours (between the hours of 8am-5pm)
- Location: this is a hybrid position with requirement to work 3-4 days per week on-site in Minneapolis, MN. (this is not open to remote work, local candidates will receive preference during screening)
