How You Will Make a Difference
Therapists are responsible for providing individual and group therapy sessions for clients in a specialized intensive outpatient treatment setting. Position is responsible for assessing the therapeutic needs of the individuals and families, and for developing appropriate treatment plans. Program Therapists act as the primary contact for clients and families throughout the treatment process and serve as a client advocate with the treatment team. Position acts as a liaison with referral sources, clinical partners, and internal resources to coordinate care throughout the treatment process.
Position Summary: The Chief Operating Officer has responsibility for day-to-day operations of Lifeskills facilities, ensuring clients, family members and referral sources receive concierge level clinical services. This leadership position collaborates with the Group CEO to provide strategic and tactical operations leadership, ensuring clinical, financial, and operational goals are consistently achieved.
Relationships and Contacts
Within the organization: Reporting directly to the Group CEO, position establishes and maintains close and frequent collaborative partnerships with facility-based team members and national leaders at Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare.
Outside the organization: Maintains positive professional relationships with regulatory bodies, community leaders, insurance providers, referral sources, client families and third-party vendors, as necessary.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree required, master’s degree in business or clinical field of study is strongly preferred, licensed or working toward license (MFT, LPC, LCSW, PhD, LMHC, LMFT) in the state of Florida. Requires a minimum of seven (7) years of operations leadership experience within behavioral healthcare
Other Requirements
- Requires a valid State Driver’s License.

- Demonstrates a working knowledge of CARF accreditation standards. Demonstrates a working knowledge of state and federal employment and licensure standards.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have good clinical skills to assess dynamics accurately and develop effective treatment strategies within the context of the overall treatment plan.
- Must have good analytical ability to evaluate information reported by all members of the treatment team and revise treatment strategies accordingly.
- Must have leadership abilities to support the clinicians, nurses and care workers working with the population.
- Must be flexible regarding program needs.
