POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Clinical Registered Nurse at LIFESKILLS GROUP is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and professionalism. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive healthcare services, promote health education, and enhance patient outcomes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to meet the needs of patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor and document patient conditions, progress, and responses to treatment, communicating any changes to the healthcare team promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures to promote wellness and self-care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nursing policies and procedures.
- Support and mentor junior nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Stay updated with the latest nursing practices and advancements to provide evidence-based care.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS / EXPECTATIONS:

Provides clinical oversight and guidance to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates of Science in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience in patient assessment and care planning.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patient interaction.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using healthcare technology and electronic documentation systems.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering high-quality care.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound clinical decisions.
