Production Assistant
Help create accurate, polished print products while keeping customer orders moving smoothly.
Options Ink, the full-service design, print, and promotional products division of LifeSkills Connection, Inc. is hiring a Production Assistant to support the preparation, production, and finishing of printed materials. You’ll work closely with our operations team to complete customer orders across multiple platforms using design software and production equipment, with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and high-quality results. This is an on-call position.
What You’ll Do
- Operate design software and printing equipment to complete customer orders and internal projects
- Ensure all output meets quality standards for design, layout, production, and finishing
- Record customer feedback and escalate concerns to the Operations Director when needed
- Answer incoming calls, assist walk-in customers, and relay requests to the appropriate staff
- Keep production areas organized and stocked with necessary supplies
- Support customer packaging and shipping needs while managing multiple deadlines
- Follow Options Ink and LifeSkills Connection policies and procedures for safety and consistency
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent attention to detail and a basic understanding of design and layout principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Canva, Adobe Express, or similar programs
- Ability to work efficiently, both independently and with team members
- Strong organization, project management, and written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, use feedback to improve, and remain punctual and dependable
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; printing or production experience is a plus, not required

Position Details
- Non-Exempt, on-call position reporting to the Operations Manager
- On-the-job training provided; no formal design training or degree required
- Previous printing, production, or related experience is preferred
- Microsoft Office proficiency required; design or production software familiarity is a plus
