Position: Youth Mentor
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Position Summary
The Part-Time Mentor is a consistent and supportive presence for youth navigating trauma, systemic barriers, and personal challenges. This role offers guidance, emotional support, and practical tools for life and career development. Mentors play a vital part in helping participants build self-esteem, resilience, and healthy relationships.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide mentorship and emotional support to youth ages 13–24
· Lead or co-lead small group activities, workshops, and discussions
· Model appropriate behavior, emotional regulation, and leadership
· Refer youth to case managers or other internal supports as needed
· Participate in weekly team check-ins and all required training sessions
· Maintain clear documentation of mentoring sessions
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
· Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting youth in a community or educational setting
· Must have reliable transportation
· Available to work weekday afternoons/evenings and some weekends
· Emotionally mature, patient, and committed to youth success
· Open to feedback, teamwork, and continuous learning
· Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
