Duties
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including IV infusions and inhalation therapies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles, ensuring all medical terminology is correctly documented.
- Provide support in medication administration and educate patients on proper usage of prescribed medications.
- Uphold aseptic techniques while preparing sterile products to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in acute care settings to optimize patient outcomes.
- Manage inventory levels of pharmaceuticals, ensuring timely restocking and proper storage conditions.
- Address patient inquiries regarding medications, providing clear information on dosage and potential side effects.
