Job Info
Coordinates Recreation Therapy Services. Identifies age appropriate developmental tasks and needs as evidenced in the development of care and the treatment planning sessions. Evaluates patient's needs with the timeframe and documentation policies. Writes descriptive, measurable objectives to meet goals. Plans a daily therapeutic recreation program which is consistent and well structured for individuals and groups. Assist Director with program development and implementation.
Reports to: Director of Behavioral Health
Minimum Education
Required Education:
x Bachelor’s degree □ Preferred □ Required
x Other: Licensed Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist_(CTRS)_with at least 2 years' experience.

1. Data Entry using Electronic Medical Record
2. Team player
3. Ability to handle a high stress environment
4. Ability to communicate and react effectively to the unique needs of the patients on the behavioral health unit.
Required License/Certifications:
BLS required, or obtained during first week of hire
Hospital approved Behavioral Management Program will be provided.
