How you’ll contribute
A Echocardiology Tech who excels in this role:
- Operates and controls ultrasound equipment, while obtaining good diagnostic quality images and process studies appropriately.
- Schedules same day add-on exams and works with the scheduling department to schedule exams in the most economical and efficient manner.
- Properly assists, transfers, and immobilizes patients with proper techniques and devices.
- CPR certification is required.
- Interviews patients and reviews orders, obtains patient history, and reviews prior images and reports.
- Assist the cardiologist/radiologist as needed.
- Assists in transporting of patients to and from the department as needed.
- Accurately enter charges for exams and supplies.
- May be required to perform other assignments from time to time as requested by the Department Leader.
- Rotate call, holidays, and weekends as needed.

What we’re looking for -
Applicants should have an associates degree and registered RDCS by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registry eligible is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
