Title: Staff Support Coordinator (SSC)
Reports to: Serve Director
Partners Directly With: Church staff, pastors, and volunteers

Type: Coordinator, 25 hours per week, hourly (up to 30 hours during busy seasons), $20 hourly
Position Overview
The Staff Support Coordinator (SSC) at LifePoint is a key support role focused on administrative tasks and projects that enable ministry and church operations to flourish. The SSC is a vital part of the team, partnering with directors, pastors, ministry leaders, and volunteers to manage tasks and ensure ministry support functions run smoothly.
BIG ROCKS (Key Responsibilities):
- Makes ministry easier and more efficient for directors and pastoral staff by completing weekly administrative tasks as assigned by the Serve Director.
- Coordinates and manages the Planning Center calendar, event registrations, and guest assimilation workflows/notes.
- Oversees front desk needs, including phone communication and guest engagement, utilizing volunteers where appropriate as directed by the Serve Director.
- Manages office systems such as printer use/function/service, phone communication/services, and supply ordering for the office and staff kitchen.
- Assists pastoral staff with email communication, research projects, and special requests guided by the service director.
Leadership Overview:
- Schedules and coordinates volunteer administrative and office functions under the direction of the Serve Director.
- Organizer and overseer of the new guest assimilation process.
- Provides consistent, high-quality administrative support to staff across departments (organized and scheduled weekly for consistency)
- Answers phones and warmly welcomes guests, ensuring they are connected to the appropriate people and resources.
- Uses strong phone and communication skills to gather and input information in LifePoint’s PCO database.
- Maintains weekly inventory and purchases of office and kitchen supplies, utilizing volunteers as needed.
- Serves as guardian of the PCO calendar, registration expert, and staff communication support (email/texts).
- Maintains and updates LifePoint’s Office Manual to ensure clarity and functionality in the SSC’s absence.
