Communications Coordinator (Part-Time 18-20hours)

Position Summary
The Communications Coordinator at Lifepath Church partners with church leadership and the Media Team to support clear, engaging digital communication that serves the church and connects people through content creation, platform management, and technology support.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Communications
- Create and distribute Lifepath Church newsletter emails on a regular schedule
- Develop and manage a monthly social media content calendar
- Publish social media posts that align with church events and messaging
- Coordinate announcements and communications with the Media Team
Content Creation & Media Coordination
- Edit weekly announcement videos (approximately 2 hours per week)
- Edit and prepare photo and video content captured by the Media Team for posting
- Design graphics and promotional content for events, sermons, and ministries
- Coordinate with contracted graphic designers and video editors as needed
- Maintain consistent branding across all communication materials
- Coordinate content capture needs with the Media Team Manager ahead of services and events
Website, App & Platform Management
- Update and maintain the church website with current content
- Manage content in the Lifepath Church app and in-house display screens
- Ensure announcements and updates are accurate and consistent across all digital platforms
- Manage access, credentials, and subscriptions for church communication platforms
Member & Team Support
- Assist church members with support for the church directory and communication platforms
Technical, Systems & Compliance Support
Provide basic troubleshooting support for communication-related technology, including:
- Printers and office equipment
- TVs and display screens in the main worship center
- Internet and Wi-Fi connectivity issues
- Phones and tablets used for church communication
- Church apps and related software platforms
- Oversee copyright and licensing compliance related to communications, including CCLI and streaming requirements
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with email platforms, social media, and content calendars
- Basic graphic design and video editing experience
- Ability to manage and update content using website CMS tools and church app platforms with minimal supervision or training
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to troubleshoot technology issues
- Experience in a church or nonprofit environment preferred
Time & Schedule
- This is a part-time position averaging 18–20 hours per week
- Schedule includes flexibility during major church seasons, services, and events, including occasional weekends
Compensation
Up to $22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
