Lifestyle Content Creative Director & Editor (Part-Time)

Looking to build a luxury lifestyle/travel content platform focused on elevated short-form content across TikTok & Instagram Reels and I’m looking for a NYC-based creative who genuinely understands aesthetic visual storytelling.

This role is ideal for someone who naturally understands modern luxury lifestyle content and has a strong eye for cinematic editing, lighting, pacing, framing, and overall visual aesthetics.

I am NOT looking for traditional corporate/social media editing.

I’m specifically looking for someone who understands content styles such as:

• luxury travel recaps

• aesthetic restaurant content

• hotel/lifestyle edits

• wellness & Pilates content

• cinematic NYC lifestyle videos

• feminine, elevated visual storytelling

Examples of editing style include:

• clean transitions

• slow-motion cinematic clips

• aesthetic text overlays/fonts

• music-driven storytelling

• visually pleasing pacing and cuts

• strong lighting/composition

• modern TikTok/Reels editing style

The role will begin with editing existing travel/lifestyle footage and later transition into occasional in-person filming around NYC (1–2x weekly).

I’m looking for someone who:

• has a strong visual eye and aesthetic instinct

• is highly skilled with CapCut or similar editing platforms

• understands modern short-form luxury lifestyle content

• can creatively direct/film content when needed

• does NOT require heavy step-by-step creative direction

• is reliable, collaborative, and creative

Part-time / flexible role.

Current workload:

• approximately 4–5 short-form edits weekly to start

Compensation:

$300–$600/month depending on experience, fit, and availability. Potential for growth as the platform expands.
