Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee consumer intake and enrollment processes
- Develop, schedule, and coordinate a wide range of recreational program activities and staff trainings
- Assess participants abilities and interests to ensure appropriate access to programs and community resources
- Manage all aspects of the recreation program, including staff scheduling, training, and procurement of materials and resources
- Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses and organizations to support program goals
- Collaborate with participants, families, and care teams to support the implementation of person-centered goals
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum 1 years of experiencein event planning and/or coordinating activities or related experience
- Knowledge of human behavior, individual differences, motivation, and learning strategies
- Proficiency in using computers and mobile devices, including navigating common software applications, web browsers, and mobile apps.
- Associate degree (AA/AS) preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Must have a clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a passion for inclusive and engaging programming
