Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse specialising in Medical/Surgical care to join our healthcare team. Duties

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical and surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, adhering to hospital protocols.
• Assist with patient mobilisation, hygiene, and comfort measures.
• Document all patient interactions and interventions thoroughly and accurately in accordance with legal and organisational standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate effective patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medication regimes, and post-discharge care instructions.
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Registered Nurse within a Medical/Surgical ward or similar clinical setting.
• Demonstrable knowledge of human anatomy and physiology relevant to acute care nursing.
• Strong patient care skills with the ability to handle diverse cases compassionately and efficiently.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and clinical procedures.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Relevant nursing qualification recognised by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). This position requires a committed professional eager to deliver exceptional patient-centred care while adhering to the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
