About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Digital Content Specialist to create, manage, and optimize high-quality digital content across our platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with website taxonomy, SEO best practices, and large-scale content operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent writing ability, and the ability to manage content projects from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and maintain SEO-optimized web and technical content to support business objectives.
- Manage and update website taxonomy, ensuring accuracy and a seamless user experience.
- Provide content support including updating, analyzing, translating content, and delivering outputs such as Excel reports, charts, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Work extensively in Excel to manipulate data, pull reports, and prepare digestible graphs and insights.
- Collaborate with product groups to maintain up-to-date part taxonomy on Parts.Cat.Com, incorporating stakeholder feedback to enhance the user journey.
- Own and manage content-related projects from initiation to completion with strong attention to detail.
- Apply ethical SEO best practices, including keyword research, competitive analysis, meta-tag creation, and optimization of titles and descriptions.
- Partner with the SEO Manager to refine product content for improved visibility and engagement.
- Work closely with development teams to support content development processes.
- Handle large-scale text data for quality assurance and system integration.
- Support translation and localization workflows, including working with termbases, translation memories, and related tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill content needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5–7 years of overall professional experience.
- 3–5 years of experience writing and editing web or technical content.
- Proven experience managing a website taxonomy.
- Strong SEO experience with practical knowledge of keyword tools and ranking factors.
- Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
- Ability to manage and process large-scale text data for QA and integration.
- Strong Excel and presentation skills (pivot tables, data manipulation, graph creation).
- Background as a digital marketing copywriter or content producer.
- Experience in construction or related industries is a plus.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $46.00 per hour
