About the Position
Our part-time pharmacists play an important role in providing safe, accurate, and dependable medication services to the patients and healthcare facilities we serve.
You will work alongside an experienced pharmacy team in a supportive environment where patient safety, accuracy, and excellent service are our priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately review and verify prescriptions
- Ensure medications are dispensed safely and accurately
- Provide pharmacist consultation to patients, nurses, and healthcare professionals
- Monitor medication therapy and identify potential medication-related issues
- Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and state pharmacy regulations
- Assist pharmacy technicians and support staff with workflow
- Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff and healthcare facilities
- Help maintain a safe, efficient, and professional pharmacy environment
Qualifications
- Current, active pharmacist license in the applicable state(s)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable and professional
- Long-term care, institutional, or closed-door pharmacy experience is a plus, but not required
