LIFECYCLE RENEWABLES: We are a rapidly growing regional renewable fuel producer. We are looking for a detail oriented Logistics Operations and Service Analyst to support our route based Used Cooking Oil collection services.
The Logistics Operations and Service Analyst supports the efficient and reliable collection of used cooking oil (UCO) and related restaurant service operations. This role focuses on improving route performance, service quality, technician productivity and overall operational efficiency across our truck fleet. The analyst uses data-driven insights and analysis to support the optimization of collection routes, manage KPI and service metrics, and enhance customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.
Key responsibilities:
· Data analysis and reporting: Gather and analyze logistical data to identify trends and inefficiencies in service routes. Track and review key operational data including service frequency, route completion and collection volumes.
· Process optimization: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve efficiency and technician productivity. Including route audits, technology monitoring and asset deployment.
· Problem-solving: Identify and address specific customer service issues and implement sustainable solutions.
· Coordination: Work with various teams (IT, sales, finance, processing) and external partners (subcontractors) to monitor and deliver high quality service.
· Service Quality Monitoring: Monitor service schedules, missed pickups, and customer feedback to ensure timely and consistent service delivery. Work with dispatch and field supervisors to resolve recurring service issues.
Other:
· SupportKPIs for the business using Excel, SQL, and other platforms.
· Assist in coordinating projects and initiatives. Create written standard operating procedures to support.
· Act as internal resource for assigned accounts and ongoing customer service responsibilities
· Maintain detailed customer database
· Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of operational performance metrics
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Services, or related field.
· 2–4 years of experience in operations analysis, route optimization, logistics, or service management, ideally in waste collection, recycling, or environmental services.
· Experience with fleet management systems, GPS route tracking, or TMS (Transportation Management Systems) preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
· Proficiency in Excel, or other analytics and reporting tools.
· Working knowledge of DOT regulations, safety protocols, and fleet operations.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate across departments.
· Adaptable, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Passionate about customer service with a high sense of urgency.
Work Environment
This position is primarily office-based, with occasional field visits to observe route operations and service performance at restaurant locations. Some regional travel may be required.
