What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at LIFECARE DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING?
Lifecare Diagnostic Imaging Center, is currently searching for a dependable, bilingual, honest, and out-going individual who enjoys working with both patients and doctor's offices to fill an essential full-time position within our office.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to multi-task, have good communication skills and have proficient computer skills.
- Handle incoming phone calls
- Set up appointments
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, family members, providers and staff
- Take/manage messages for providers
- Verify & run insurance eligibility
- Discuss balances with patients, assist in the process of setting up payment plans.
- Assist in the gathering of information to process network referrals
- Medical terminology
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Check patients in/out of the office
- Collect co-payments
Salary is contingent upon experience
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking is necessary)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Proficient with computers
- Prior medical experience preferred but not necessary
Full-time Monday - Friday 8 am-4 pm or 9 am- 5 pm
Experience:
