- rovide comprehensive nursing care by assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, implementing interventions, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Collect, document, and maintain accurate patient health and forensic information while ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, patients, families, and external agencies to coordinate and deliver quality patient care.
- Administer medications safely by following medication administration policies, completing medication reconciliation, and adhering to the Five Rights of Medication Administration.
- Monitor patient progress, recognize changes in condition, utilize critical thinking, and coordinate appropriate interventions or emergency resources as needed.
- Promote patient safety by implementing infection prevention measures, fall prevention strategies, restraint policies, and universal precautions.
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges while ensuring all required documentation and communication are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and evidence-based nursing practices to support quality patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate leadership by mentoring and supporting colleagues, fostering teamwork, resolving concerns through the chain of command, and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Manage workload effectively by maintaining flexibility, accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous process improvement and high-quality patient care.
- Registered Nurse RN license
- BLS through American Heart Association
- SAFE/ Forensic nursing experience strongly preferred
